(Definitions) 

폴리쿼터늄-11은 주로 비닐피롤리돈과 N,N-디메칠아미노에칠메타크릴산 공중합체의 디에칠황산염으로 된 공중합물로 폴리쿼터늄-11(1)은 20% 수용액이고, 폴리쿼터늄-11(2)는 50% 에탄올용액이다. 이 원료는 정량할 때 질소(N:14.01)를 각각 1.8-2.4%, 4.4-5.6%를 함유하고, 평균분자량은 각각 100만, 10만이다.
