설명(영) |
Alkanolamines are substances which carry aliphatic hydroxyl and amino groups on the same molecules. The presence of the hydroxyl group reduces the volatility of these amines. Mono-, di-, and triethanolamines are typical representatives of this type of substance. Because they are used so commonly, they are generally referred to by their abbreviations: MEA, DEA, TEA, etc. Salts of alkanolamines are amine salts and are included in the listing of Amines. Alkanolamines are commonly used for neutralizing various types of acids and for adjusting the pH of cosmetic products. In addition, alkanolamines are widely used as raw materials in the synthesis of cosmetic ingredients, e.g., Alkanolamides and Alkylamido Alkylamines. |
